Everyone has encountered, experienced or dealt with the impact players of their life. What I mean by that, are not necessarily the ones that have caused inspiration whether it be fictional or real life. I mean that people that have come and gone throughout your life that have made it better. The people that have changed your perspectives, helped you grow, given you insight on where the future holds. I’ve been fortunate enough to have many of those people in my life. They’ve helped mold the John Garis we all love today. I’m forever thankful that they’ve been such a supportive and integral part of my way of living. Because I’ll say it before I’ll say it again, people make the world go round. Most certainly for my crazy world these people keep it spinning like no tommorow.

So what constitutes a person being an an impact player? Well, there isn’t a set  definition. But I’ll try my best. Whenever I think of impact players, I think of the people who have changed my life for the better. As I described up above. They’ve done just that in my life. Had a positive impact. Some of which at times might have had a negative impact but that’s ok, too. That’s where you grow. Negative energy is just waiting to be cradled and cuddled into positive energy. It just takes some nurturing. When it comes to impactful people there’s no difference it’s the same concept.

What I urge you to do, moving forward, is think about your impact players. Write down a list. Could be as big as you want or as small. The thing is some people may not even know how’ve they’ve been impactful in your life, and that’s worth hearing. Trust me you will make someone’s day just telling them they’ve made a difference in your life. Isn’t it worth it enough to do that? I’ve never understood the closed-off attitude people have towards letting each other know how they feel. It’s an important thing in life to do so. So just let it out.

My fiancé said a great line to me after I read her post to her. “She said we don’t often tell the people we love how we feel. We should though.” Thats what these impact players are. The people I love that I have made me, me. I just wanted to thank them in the past, ay way possible. Through admiration, through love and through positivity. ‘Cause maybe if I could spend my time expending some positive energy. Maybe then will I be doing my part.
